For the fifth year in a row, we are proud to present the IT Woman of the Year Award, celebrating and recognizing female role models within the tech and IT industry in the Linné Region. We are excited to announce that this year’s award will be presented in two categories:

Role Model of the Year & Upcoming Tech Talent of the Year

The Role Model of the Year award recognizes an individual who inspires, leads, and drives positive change within IT, technology, or digitalization. Through her expertise, dedication, and leadership, she makes a lasting difference by fostering innovation, strengthening the tech community, and helping shape the future of the Linné Region while inspiring others to pursue their own journeys in tech. The Upcoming Tech Talent of the Year award celebrates a rising talent who demonstrates potential and is already making a positive impact within IT, technology, or digitalization. It recognizes an individual who, early in their studies or careers, stand out through their passion, initiative, and drive to make a difference. Through this award, we want to highlight the next generation of innovators, leaders, and changemakers whose ideas, dedication, and ambition are helping shape the future of technology and innovation in the Linné Region. The Winners

In partnership with Women in Tech, both winners will receive a ticket to the annual Women in Tech Conference in Stockholm, including travel and accommodation expenses, on behalf of WiTech and sponsors.

The Upcoming Tech Talent of the Year winner will also receive a tailored mentorship and development programme. Designed to support the next generation of tech leaders, the programme provides access to experienced mentors, valuable industry connections, and exclusive activities with our sponsors, creating opportunities for both personal and professional development throughout the year.

Open to All: While the award honors women in tech, the celebration is open to everyone, regardless of gender. Visible role models matter for the whole industry, and change happens faster when we celebrate them together. Bring a colleague, a friend, or a future tech talent!
